George G. Kitchens, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) and Facial Plastic Surgery. He developed Physicians Hearing & Balance Center, Montgomery, AL 12 years ago and has returned to practice from retirement to establish Toccoa Clinic's Ear and Balance Center.

Dr. Kitchens earned his B.S. in Chemsitry at Mercer University and his M.D. from The Medical College of Georgia. He Completed his residencies in general surgery and otolaryngology at The University of Tennessee in Memphis and a Facial Plastic Fellowship in Boston, MA. He is active in numerous ear, nose & throat organizations and has published several papers including a thesis "The Relationship of Environmental Tobacco Smoke and Otitis Media in Young Children".

Working with audiologist Glen Johnson, Kitchens will offer comprehensive audiological , balance testing and vestibular therapy. Testing and therapy in his office at the Foothills Centre in Toccoa, will allow for better diagnostics and a more specific therapeutic approach to dizziness.
