Med Access is our convenient after-hours service to treat your acute illness needs. Located at 58 Big A Rd, in Toccoa, Georgia. Med Access is extended physician hours for any patient, whether you are a patient of Toccoa Clinic or not.

It operates from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. week nights and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.  It is only closed four days a year; New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, and the Fourth of July, and is willing to modify its schedule to meet the needs of the public.

            Walk-ins and late arrivals are welcome; however, you may have to wait a short period, as you will be worked into that day’s schedule for the clinic.  Appointments are welcome for routine and sick visits.  We have a direct phone number (706-827-2607), that is staffed by our friendly, courteous and professional Med Access receptionist during Med Access hours of operation.  If you call the Med Access phone number from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Family Practice receptionist will make an appointment and/or resolve your issue.  Please just come in or call with your acute health care needs.

            The Med Access clinic has access to your complete Toccoa Clinic health record.  Med Access is staffed by experienced, qualified Nurse Practitioners who will treat the acute illness and refer your chronic needs to the appropriate physician or clinic.  Our protocol allows us to treat most illnesses for both male and females, ages 2 and above.  Laboratory tests will be drawn as required and our x-ray is available on weekdays until 5:00 p.m.  Med Access is designed to be flexible enough to meet the health needs of the working public of our region.
